Implementation Engineer

Complion recently won “Best Growth” and “Startup of the Year” and we’re looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our cross-functional team. You will report to the CTO, joining a group of highly motivated individuals that are driving innovation in the Clinical Research space through technology automation. Our cloud-based software stores critical clinical trial documentation for hospitals and medical centers to ensure the delivery of new treatments to patients.

The Implementation Engineer is a client-facing role where you will be responsible for facilitating and implementing high-quality technical solutions in all aspects of the Complion product set. As an Implementation Engineer, you will manage all projects through the project lifecycle, including design, technical discovery, integration, installation, training, and support. The successful candidate will combine their leadership skills with technical aptitude, high energy, and strong customer service skills to deliver and align our solutions with client requirements and expectations.

As the Implementation Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in building an Implementation department with policies, procedures, and personnel necessary to execute implementation projects with a high degree of efficiency and quality
  • Leading new customer implementations including all tasks required from post-sales process to production go-live
  • Leading professional services work including enhancements for existing customers
  • Serving as an expert resource for the Sales and Account Management teams to aid in analysis and design of new solutions
  • Serving as an escalation point for customer issues
  • Participating as needed with assigned technical projects
  • Configuring, testing, and deploying hosted customer implementations of our software
  • Identifying dependencies and communicating consistently with project team to ensure smooth and timely deployments
  • Providing ongoing business and technical support to existing customers

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, related experience in accounting, finance, related field or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of technical implementation experience including the ability to code in one or more languages such as Java, .Net, Ruby, Python and/or Javascript
  • Previous Project Management and/or implementation leadership experience is desired
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience/degrees considered
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with emphasis in attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently, or as part of a team, and follow tasks through to completion
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead others
  • The ability to follow best practices and prescribed development methodologies in the performance of the above duties
  • Ability to ensure consistent level of quality in the design and implementation of solutions

Business Development Coordinator

Complion recently won “Best Growth” and “Startup of the Year” and we’re looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our growing cross-functional team. You will report to the Director of Business Development, joining a group of highly motivated Business Development individuals that are driving sustainable revenue growth. Our cloud-based software stores critical clinical trial documentation for hospitals and medical centers to ensure the delivery of new treatments to patients.

The Business Development Coordinator is the primary point of support for the business development team.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Scraping contact information from medical institutions and companies involved in clinical research and/or medical trial compliance and entering into Salesforce
  • Conducting 40-50 calls per day to dedicated research sites, some smaller hospitals and other prospects for our technology to survey decision makers and obtain site referrals
  • Scheduling follow up calls with Business Development team members as appropriate
  • Managing inbound leads from all sources such as website, referrals, trade shows and marketing campaigns, ensuring that the assigned rep follows up in a timely manner and moves them through the Business Development pipeline
  • Following up with leads where additional prospect qualification is required and, in some cases, moving them into a more dedicated Business Development effort
  • Conducting weekly meetings with Business Development team members to measure success and make improvements in processes or messaging
  • Generating and formatting prospect lists
  • Appending and sourcing data to improve list quality, and effectively managing prospect information to enhance telemarketing and email campaigns
  • Providing feedback to the marketing team on nurture campaigns
  • Following a call script and providing input based on prospect feedback
  • Including market research questions into call script with input and initial script provided by the team

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience with a proven track record.
  • College degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a similar capacity, retail Business Development or customer service role
  • The ideal candidate will have a desire to be part of a highly entrepreneurial and unstructured environment
  • Adaptive to and comfortable with speaking to internal and external stakeholders at all levels using various platforms
  • Fast paced, analytical and quick thinker with an ability to interpret many different data sets
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

Sales Coordinator

You will report to the Director of Client Services, joining a group of highly motivated individuals that are driving innovation in the Clinical Research space through technology automation and first rate customer service. Our cloud-based software stores critical clinical trial documentation for hospitals and medical centers to ensure the delivery of new treatments to patients.

The mission and vision for client services is to be our clients’ trusted advisor in helping them leverage and implement  Complion’s services and solutions to achieve their goals. This is a client-facing role where the individual will be directly responsible for both engaging clients proactively and responding to their requests and concerns. This a highly collaborative and relational role that requires interaction with every functional area throughout the company.

As a Client Success Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with clients; gauge their level of satisfaction and probe for opportunities to improve/expand their relationship with Complion
  • Act as an advocate to represent the voice of the client as well as Complion’s POV
  • Conduct client Discovery Sessions to create an implementation plan and associated delivery dates
  • Build/modify client configurations in the system
  • Provide recommendations to clients on potential process implementation/improvement
  • Work with Finance Analyst to deliver timely invoicing and contract renewals
  • Provide support/training related to customer inquiries
  • Update system related materials including manuals, videos, training and support documents
  • Work with QA Testing Lead to execute assigned testing tasks and provide feedback
  • Interpret system provided data related to client usage and create a plan to address any clients who aren’t performing as expected
  • Work with Sales/Marketing team to provide client based information related to references, success stories, source client engagement speakers
  • Capture client feedback in terms of system feature requests and prioritize based on revenue and benefit to all users

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Experience in a client-facing role is desirable
  • At least two years of experience in customer support role is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with customer success management in a software company is preferred
  • Preferred experience with SalesForce and ZenDesk or equivalent
  • Sales or Customer Service experience with an outgoing, positive and inquisitive mentality
  • Fast paced, analytical and quick thinker with an ability to interpret many different data sets
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Sales Representative

Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a Sales Representative to start immediately. We recently won “Best Growth” and “Startup of the Year” and have no plans to slow down. Are you ready to join a team of highly motivated individuals that are driving innovation in the Software and Clinical Research space?

You will become an expert in the application of novel, cutting edge clinical research software for hospitals and clinics in order to achieve success in a highly consultative sales process. You will join a small, collaborative sales team where your feedback will be directly related to the advancement of the team, the sales process and the product. You must be a highly motivated, self-directed, driven sales professional with 2 or more years of experience successfully building relationships on the phone with top level executives from call to close. As Complion is pioneering a new product category, this Sales Representative may spend more time in outbound and educational sales initiatives in comparison to a more mature product category.

Complion’s compensation package includes a substantial base salary, uncapped cash commission structure, in addition to incentive stock option compensation. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Reaching the target goal: $500K in first year of employment via sales to $5-50K annual recurring revenue accounts.
  • Performing product demonstrations in a highly collaborative manner with prospective customers.
  • Sales engineering of solutions and processes for prospective customers.
  • Engage in training professional development for consultative sales and the application of cutting edge for clinical research hospitals and medical centers.
  • Provide input into campaigns, marketing, product and sales processes to achieve sales goals.
  • Responsible for nurturing sales/lead pipeline with qualified opportunities. Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity.
  • Provide timely and accurate detail on all weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting requirements.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology – and clearly customize and articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers.
  • Deliver proposals and presentations via teleconference, successfully understanding, managing and overcoming prospect objections.
  • Articulate the Company’s value proposition to decision-makers to assess buying interest. Adapt conversations to promote software solutions with various management levels and professionals across technical and business disciplines.
  • Interface with and build long-term relationships, facilitate satisfaction, and gain acceptance of technology and financial justifications from key decision makers and user levels to facilitate customer satisfaction and future product sales growth.
  • Proactively continue company product, competitive product and market knowledge.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national industry conferences.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Desire to support and advance a sales team and novel, cutting edge product.
  • Desire to excel and grow as a sales professional into larger enterprise accounts.
  • Experience in an early stage tech venture and/or work environments with high ambiguity desirable.
  • Experience selling software, SaaS/Cloud and/or recurring revenue products & services preferred.
  • Experience selling into the Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Ability to aggressively prospect and penetrate new accounts. High energy and positive attitude, with demonstrated ability to overcome objections.
  • Able to perform under pressure, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and dynamic environment. Able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, documentation, organizational, and written and oral communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree or related experience in a business, communications, or marketing
  • Must have PC experience with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with demonstrated proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Webex and SalesForce is preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with other departments and to utilize them as a resource as needed.
  • Must be comfortable traveling around 15% of the time for conferences.

Complion’s purpose is to transform the way clinical document and workflows are maintained. Our enterprise SAAS document management platform replaces the 6-10 inch paper regulatory binders that every clinical trial is required to maintain. Our platform not only offers electronic document archiving but provides methods for research coordinators and physicians to collaborate. By eliminating the inefficient paper based processes, researchers can focus on advancements and better patient outcomes. Complion is currently the only product on the market targeted to research sites for e-Regulatory Binders that meets the FDA regulations for CFR 21 Part 11.

As a Platform Software Developer, you will use your development skills to develop applications and systems that will help researchers find the next medical breakthrough and accelerate the growth of Complion. We currently have a repository with terabytes of data and now looking to scale to millions of documents a day while working on cutting edge digital signature approaches. We are looking for a candidate to work closely with the development team and the CTO to establish and implement our software development needs.
This position is open to both mid-level and more experienced applicants. Professional experience and a B.S in Computer Science (or equivalent) are required.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Understanding working with Model view controller (MVC) web frameworks such as Node.js, Rails. Django or like frameworks.
  • JavaScript necessary; experience with React or Knockout.JS is preferred
  • A deep understanding of complex SQL statements
  • MongoDB experience is preferred
  • Ability to learn new technologies, tools and platforms quickly
  • A team players who wants to want the ability to influence building world class technology stacks.
